Veggie Splendour.

Mmmmm Veggies aplenty. We now have finally begun to see the labours of love popping out of the ground. Peas, beans, radishes, carrots, two types of lettuce and beets for Dana. I am loving being a gardener! This is my first garden ever so I am feeling pretty darned proud. Gardens rock. Next year....potatoes and maybe cucumbers.

Do tomatoes, especially roma, red and yellow cherry varieties, and maybe some yellow peach ones (a new hybrid, yellow orange, with a smooth fuzzy skin!) All yum yum! start them indoors in a 'grow op' lighted shelf early, then transplant outdoors after last risk of frost....

Yah David. We are planning on putting tomatoes right in our boxes beside the house. Four steps out the back door to tomatoes! Right now they are full of herbs that never get used so I'm all for something that we buy on a regular basis.
