A friend and I are scheming...

I am never one to pass up testing next years gear and I have been fortunate enough to apprehend a pair of 2014 OneWay Premio 9 Skate skis. Getting out and giving them a go this weekend. I'm very excited to see how they run.

Not enough pictures of Dana.

Here is a great one of Dana out and about for a family ski on Valentines Day with our favorite little man.
As you can see we spend a lot of time on skis in the winter months. :)

Family Racing Pics

Here are a few pics from the winter so far including race pictures from both our own Huckleberry Loppet as well as from the Nipika Races in Radium. Julian has been training up for the BC Midget Championships happening this weekend in Revelstoke so we will see how it goes.

Julian crossing the finish of the 5km Boys race in Golden. That was a LONG one for him. 3rd Place!!

Amelia with quite possibly the biggest smile of any racer I have EVER seen. Atta girl sweetie.

Enjoying a rare moment of sibling affection post race.

Boys podium at the 16th annual Huckleberry Loppet.

Julian destroyed the field of skiers in the 3km Skate event at Nipika.
This is my favorite picture of the year so far!

Playing catch up.

It has been months...as you can see from the last  date below since I have posted anything. I missed out the Xmas holidays with a knee injury that is still plaguing me to this day, causing much of the winter to be lost to rehab, recovery and stabilization. Not the plans I had leading into the winter season but alas, I have been taking it all in stride. Here however are some pics with the Mito Nordic Racing Team at the Nipika Loppet

Julian putting in some time behind and iron and brush. His skis were indeed fast getting him a 3rd place in the 3km Free technique race.
The start line of the skate race for the 10 and 20km racers.

Mito booth set up beside our ski and boot sponsor Salomon at Nipika. Skigo is the official wax and accessories sponsor of TeamMito.

A few of our racers who slayed it with over 5 podiums throughout the weekend.
